  • Sany Nguyen

    LEADERSHIP MEMBER

    Sany is a Vietnamese American attorney, entrepreneur, lifestyle blogger and influencer, and active community service member. Hailing originally from Southern California, Sany brought her delightful persona and created "Sany Delight", a social media lifestyle persona who shares about finding balance, intention and delight throughout her life's journey and all the things she eats, sees and does. A passionate soul centered on serving the community, Sany is the lead Staff Attorney at a non-profit organization in Chicago, sits on the Chicago Mayor's Office Community Engagement Council, curates her own community enriched programs and campaigns, and has teamed up with various non-profit organizations all throughout the Chicagoland Area to champion for BIPOC communities, AAPI communities, underserved communities, and youth education and development. With Over 15 years of community engagement, Sany prides herself in helping others and serving as a catalyst for equal and equitable opportunities for all. She loves traveling, the outdoors, adventures, photography, art, music festivals, health & wellness, eating copious amounts of food, and sharing her life experiences with others.

  • Trang T Hill

    LEADERSHIP MEMBER

    Trang is a nonprofit leader with more than 15 years working in the non profit sector. Trang is currently the Director for Newcomer Immigrant Community Engagement and Global Strategies at YMCA of the USA. Trang leads and coordinates efforts to strengthen the capacity of local Ys to work with newcomer-immigrant communities. She provides national strategic oversight of the growing network of YMCA New American Welcome Center. Trang serves on the board of the nonprofit organization, Project VISION. Project VISION helps youth of Chicago's Chinatown, Bridgeport, and surrounding communities achieve their full potential by providing them with tools for educational, personal, and civic development. Trang graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a bachelor's degree in human development and a minor in anthropology. Trang enjoys volunteering, community organizing and working to help build strong and thriving communities.

  • Huy Nguyen

    LEADERSHIP MEMBER

    Huy initially joined Celebrate Argyle for the excitement of planning a Lunar New Year event and sharing the importance of the holiday and its traditions with those not familiar with them. Through the continuation of culturally relevant programming and outreach, he hopes to help revitalize the Asia on Argyle neighborhood and create a vibrant, enriched community where residents and visitors alike feel connected to the space and to each other. Apart from Celebrate Argyle, Huy serves as the President of the Asian American Bar Association of Greater Chicago, an advisory board member of the Chinese American Bar Association of Greater Chicago, and a board member of the Vietnamese Association of Illinois. He also regularly volunteers with the Chinatown Pro Bono Legal Clinic, Asian Americans Advancing Justice Chicago, Asian American Midwest Progressives, and Erie Neighborhood House, and is a run lead with Family Style RC. He received his BBAs in Marketing and International Business from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and his JD from Chicago-Kent College of Law.

  • Noah Gothard

    Hi! I’m Noah. I’ve lived in uptown since 2019, and I fell in love with Argyle right away. I love taking pictures, talking with business owners, and trying new restaurants in the neighborhood. I got started with Celebrate Argyle as a way to meet new people, and to learn responsibly and intentionally about different Asian cultures. when i’m not at work or a CA event, you can find me at the beach or playing volleyball!

  • Abbie Huynh

    LEADERSHIP MEMBER

    Abbie is a community leader based in northside Chicago and joined Celebrate Argyle in 2021 in an effort to connect with her heritage. She graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies and a minor in global studies. Her goal is to inspire young people to learn about and celebrate their culture. She is passionate about uplifting AANHPI-owned businesses and would love to see more people visit Argyle and help sustain the neighborhood’s beautiful history. Abbie loves checking out new places to eat, going to concerts with friends, and traveling!

  • Ngan Le

    LEADERSHIP MEMBER

    My name is Ngan Le and I am Vietnamese-American from Chicago, Illinois. I serve as a run lead for Family Style Run Club, mentor young women of color through Chinese Mutual Aid Association’s (CMAA’s) Young Women Warriors program, and an associate board member at CMAA. As a community leader with over ten years of dedicated service, I joined Celebrate Argyle, about a year now, to continue my mission of helping Argyle prosper and flourish.
